Fresh Del Monte’s Galveston, Texas team has been a consistent supporter of the Houston Food Bank, working to end food insecurity in the surrounding areas while decreasing food waste. In 2021, a member of our Galveston team visited the food bank and was given a tour by the CEO to express their appreciation for Fresh Del Monte’s support. In 2021, we donated 1,535,860 lbs of food to the food bank which provided 1,279,883 meals to local families.
